Paul Young said… Hi Helen, Thank you for the post on my wall. I am happy to listen and give any support I can though I am so far removed from front line work I may not be the best person. I can provide more from the strategic viewpoint. Let me know how I can help.
Helen Moore said… hi paul, thankyou so much.i think its just so nice that you did send me a comment.ive just got my 1st assignment so will see how i get on thankyou
Alan Howard said… Hiya Helen! I'm recently qualified and currently job hunting at present, think I’d prefer to be studying again! Assignments, I think, are quite personal to you as they often require your spin and perspective on things. So, find a thought provoking/chatty friend, a coffee or bottle of wine and bounce the ideas around the room with a notepad close by, very useful and it can take your own thoughts in a very different direction. Placements...make sure you hold your learning needs at the forefront of all you do, make them a well known priority as the only person truly interested in you and your needs and your development beyond the portfolio is unfortunately just you. Best of luck with it all! :)
PJ Nicholls said… Thank you for your message and I hope that you are enjoying your placement. The only advice I can give regarding your journals is to keep up to date with them. I really enjoyed my degree but unfortunately there is much work; so I am back doing support work. I am considering doing a post grad course. All the best with your studies :-)
Joanne Heslop said… Hi Helen, how's it going? Sorry for not responding to your message sooner.. but time flys away with life! I've been qualified now for nearly 2 years but can remember my student days well and if there's anything I can do to help don't hesitate to ask! Hope you're doing well with the assignments and I think the best advice I could give is to try your best and keep going! Good luck for the future
